Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, one must be 10 years of age or older to participate in a tour or investigation. We encourage parental discretion for kids under the age of 19. A parent/guardian will need to be present and sign the waiver for anyone under age 19. 

Yes, and there are electrical outlets in all rooms. 

There are 2 restrooms; one on the ground level and one upstairs. 

Although not necessary, feel free to bring any equipment you would like (cameras, recorders, etc...). For the 4-Hour Ghost Hunts, we will have some equipment available for your use, as well (at no additional cost). 

No. As we are both allergic to pet dander, no animals are allowed inside the Haunted Castle House. 

Cellular reception may be poor with some carriers. We have good coverage with AT&T, but poor coverage with Verizon. Osage Beach is approximately 10 miles away and may have better reception there.

We try to work with everyone the best we can. If you will not be able to attend a tour or investigation you've booked, please email us as soon as possible. 

The first option is to reschedule to another date/time, if available. 

If we cannot reschedule for another date/time, tickets are refundable (minus any processing fees we incurred) up until 48 hours prior to the tour/investigation. 

Any cancellations received within 48 hours of tour/investigation are not guaranteed a refund. If we are able to fill your spot(s), we will refund you (minus any processing fees we incurred). If we cannot fill your spot(s), no refund will be issued.

For Special Events that are booked & paid to the Haunted Castle House, the policy is the same as above. For Special Events that are booked & paid to anyone other than the Haunted Castle House, you will have to see that person/group/entity's cancellation policy for details.

If the Haunted Castle House has to cancel a tour or investigation, we will issue you a full refund.

There are ceiling fans and baseboard heaters in most rooms. During warmer weather, there are window air-conditioning units in most rooms.

We have available dates listed on the "Tours" page of our website. Email or message us the date you would like to reserve. We ask for a $100 deposit and the remainder can be paid 2 weeks prior to the investigation. 

Yes. When your group arrives, we will give you a tour of the house and property, and answer any questions you may have. 

All rooms have electrical outlets, so there are a few options for a "command center" during a Private Overnight Investigation. Most groups have used the dining room, as it is centrally located and has a table.

We do not have high-speed internet here, so you will not have access to our Wi-Fi. 

Osage Beach is approximately 10 miles away; there, you'll find a wide variety of stores and restaurants.
